Our original charter, as well as our bylaws, contain the following Mission Statement. Using that as your guideline, what would be your greatest dream for the future of the Weeks Brick House and the organization which owns it today?

The founders of our organization (Leonard Weeks and Descendants in America, Inc.) created the following Mission Statement in 1975:
"The objects for which this non-profit corporation is established and its general purposes are and shall be to acquire, collect, preserve and maintain any and all property, matters and things pertaining to Leonard Weeks and his descendants in America; to explore and study such material and to educate and enrich members of the Corporation, as well as other interested citizens or groups, in historical and antiquarian subjects relating to Leonard Weeks and his descendants in America; to collect books, pamphlets, manuscripts, articles and other memorabilia referring hereto; to publish from time to time articles or papers of interest to the descendants of Leonard Weeks in America, or the general public; and, in particular, to acquire title to, and to preserve, maintain and improve the land adjacent to said Weeks Brick House for conservation, recreation and/or park purposes generally."
